Home Based Business - Pay Per Sale, Affiliate Programs, and Commissions

Pay Per Sale, Affiliate Programs, and Commissions are ways you can make money from home with your home based business.

You're simply selling someone else's product through your marketing efforts, whether it's a blog or website, and you receive a sales commission when the sale is completed.

Most of these products are informational, either an ecourse, software, or ebook. Quite a few of the affiliate products pay more than a 50% commission. The smart product owners offer banners, buttons, sales copy, and even articles that you can use to promote with.

Clickbank is one of the most established programs. Commission Junction is another source. Both of these make the payments to the affiliates so you don't have to worry whether the product owner will pay. PayDotCom is a program which uses PayPal as the payment method. The product owner makes the decision to pay the affiliates and has to authorize PayDotCom to do so.

Many products offer their own affiliate program independently. Look for one with a solid history of payment.

You can also become an affiliate of amazon.com to sell books and consumer products such as jewelry, televisions, whatever. The percentage commission is much lower, but sometimes the retail price is high enough to make up for it.

You can find many affiliate programs by putting the name of the company +affiliate in a search engine. You will be surprised how many brand names pop up.

The fastest way to make money selling affiliate products is to think about the forums, lists and discussion groups you already belong to. What are the questions being asked? Is there a problem that people need a solution for? What are the hot topics?

Set up an affiliate account at clickbank. Go to their marketplace and search for products that will solve the problems, or are the answer to the questions being discussed.

Set up a blog or squidoo pages that relate to the affiliate programs.

Post a informative response and include your affiliate product in your response. A softer sell is to post a review of the product on your blog and then post a response to the list/discussion forum stating that you've reviewed the product and they can find out more on your blog. You can also set up a squidoo page and refer people to your squidoo page.

You can establish a steady income from your home based business with affiliate products.

Is Debt Consolidation Good or Bad?

Many people suffering from deep debt obligations often look towards debt consolidation as the answer to their problems. Sometimes the debt is so painful, they don't always look at both the pros and cons of this debt solution though, so we'll take a brief look here.

First though, what is debt consolidation? Simply put, it's the process of combining all your debts into one. If you have ten debts of $10,000 each, then you have a total debt of $100,000. Some of those debts however, might be generating an additional 10% interest, while others are generating 15%-20% interest. In other words: Some of your debt is more expensive than others.

This is where debt consolidation comes into play. In theory, you'd take out a loan for $100,000 at a reasonable - or hopefully low - interest rate. Then you'd use those funds to pay off all ten of the smaller debts. This leaves you with just one payment to make each month, and one interest rate to manage.

Consolidating debt can be done with debt consolidation loans, by transferring your debt to zero or low interest credit cards, and by taking out a home equity loan.

Using the equity of your home to pay off debts can be risky, because if you default on the new loan, you could lose your home.

Likewise, using zero interest credit cards could also be problematic in the future, because these offers are usually designed to lure you in. The zero interest doesn't last.

Debt consolidation loans might be helpful, but be aware that when you have debt problems to begin with, you might not qualify for low enough interest rates. So if you choose to go this route, be sure to do all the math: Figure out whether the consolidation loan actually will reduce your overall payments - including the total interest you'll be paying for the life of your loan.

Some credit and debt counselors feel debt consolidation of any kind is a bad move to make though. In fact, it's estimated that 70% of americans who take out some sort of loan to consolidate their debt end up with the same or worse debt problems within two years.

A better, more long-term solution might be to consider using a debt counselor. Professional counselors negotiate with your creditors to lower your payments or interest rates, while at the same time coaching you to manage debt more effectively. The unfortunate side effect of using counselors though? Your credit report will take a hit because you're not technically paying your bills as originally agreed.

So there you have a general overview of debt consolidation, the common solutions and options, along with pros and cons of each. Be sure to research all your options completely before making a decision of course, because you don't want to make your debt problems worse in the long run.

Burned On The Barbee

When winters chill is gone in most parts of this country, its time to get the old bar-b-que grill dusted off after a long stay in the garage or barn; where ever you have had it stored since last summers cook out. If you left it outside in the weather all winter, like many of us have done, you just have to sweep off the spider webs and old leaves, throw out the old charcoal from last year and youre ready to start cooking. Well almost!

Think that is all there is to getting ready to throw a slab of meat on glowing coals? Think again! Every master griller knows there are 12 steps that anyone attempting the perfect cookout has to follow in order to have the results expected of a grilling superstar! You gotta have a plan! Nothing great has ever been accomplished without some kind of a plan! I like to have everything in order before I start, getting all my ducks in a row as it were. Outdoor grilling can be an awesome experience but you have to get it right the first time, because you only get one chance to become a backyard legend, known far and wide as the master griller

The beginnings of any wonderful weekend grill fest starts with a quick look at The Weather Channel. You have to know what the weather will be for the weekend. Its best to consult weather experts on such an important matter a couple of days before the big event. It wouldnt do to put in the time on strategic planning, then assembling the ingredients of a perfect cookout, only to be forced inside at the last minute by a steady rain. Us, who have survived many battles fighting the rain on Saturday afternoons, think of such things as this! The more you read this article and become familiar with the rules of the road us master grillers live by, then you too can become a master griller!

Next you have to decide just who will be invited and how many there will be at your cook out. This is a critical part of the planning exercise. The number of people attending dictates whether you will have steaks, pork chops or chicken! It would cost a small fortune to provide enough steaks for twenty people. Odds are there would be someone in the crowd that you didnt really like, anyway, so why would you feed this person a sizzling, delicious and scrumptious steak? Bar-b-qued chicken is the answer. Chicken is cheap!

Hamburger meat is cheap also! Either chicken or a lot of burgers will satisfy a lot of people. There is no need to spend a lot of money on meat for someone you dont really like. Either one of these meat ideas will satisfy a crowd without breaking the budget. Basically what it comes down to is this: Do you like the people in your party enough to buy at least twenty choice rib eye steaks or would it be better to have a lot of hamburger meat, a box chicken quarters or a few pork chops to throw on the coals. Whatever you decide, this is one of the first steps in planning for the backyard cookout. After the difficult decision of deciding on the meat that the occasion deserves, you can then decide how much to buy at the market. Not many people now-a- days have enough meat in their freezer to supply a cook out without having to go to the market.

IMPORTANT! Before you get too far along in the planning, its wise to decide on the appropriate time to serve beverages. Adult beverages should be left in the cooler until after the flames have died. Bar-b-cuing to us folks in the south is held in high regard, whether youre cooking for a crowd of twenty or for just a few friends over on a Saturday evening. The festivities should never be interrupted by the sound of fire engines. Ive heard that sound before at one of my cook outs and its not pretty!

Youve selected the meat and now you have to determine how much youre going to buy. This is not really an easy thing to do. If you buy too little, your guests will think youre a cheap skate. If you buy too much and have a lot left over, they will think youre throwing money away and youre just showing off.

Remember when youre a master griller the old rule of one steak or one pork chop per person goes right out the window. The food you prepare is so good that it would almost be criminal to restrict each person to just one pork chop or one piece of steak!

Of course the amount of meat you buy depends on the number of people invited to your cook out. A rule of thumb I use is to multiply the number of people times one and a half if its chicken. If its pork chops or steaks, I multiply the number of people time one and a third. Sometimes there are leftovers. If such a thing actually happens, thats great. Almost anything off the grill tastes great the next day, unless its smoked sea urchin, but then no one in their right mind would serve smoked sea urchin in the first place. Yeech!

Getting back to the basics of a good cookout, you have to start with perfect sauces, rubs or marinates, depending on the meat youre going to grill.

While there are many kinds of grills to choose from, I prefer to use the old fashioned charcoal type. I get a sense of history every time I smell the smoke emanating from burning charcoal. Maybe this was how they did it back in the old west when cowboys huddled around the campfire after a hard day on the range punching cows. The cook, who had cool nicknames like cookie or biscuit would divvy out steaks, biscuits and scalding black coffee to the cowhands. Those were the good old days.

Hamburgers: I like to keep my burgers simple. I usually sprinkle a little salt, pepper and finely ground garlic on the meat about an hour before I start cooking. Although thats exotic enough for me, some folks like to stuff them with all kinds of things such as onions, peppers and even cheese. Im old fashioned. I think cheese should remain on the top of the burgers where they belong. Burgers can be cooked to all degrees of readiness, however, I like mine cooked well with just a hint of pink in the middle. Pepper and salt to taste. (Try using garlic salt on the burgers instead of regular salt. It adds a little character to the meat.) The rest is equally simple. If you want to get fancy, just cut little chunks or slices of whatever you want to stuff in the middle of the burger and stuff it! Just remember that whatever you choose, it has to be something that cooks in a hurry. Because it doesnt take long to cook burgers, you want to be sure that whatever you have crammed in that burger is also cooked. If its not cooked well on the inside, you can get some funny looks from your guests, not to mention the threat of a law suit due to food poisoning. Cook each side 5-7 minutes over a medium high heat.

Chicken: For me, a good hot marinade on the chicken I cook on the grill is a must. Some folks however like it mild, so I always have some of both sauces ready to use after the cooking is done. You can make your own sauce or buy it at the store. The hotter marinades you usually have to make yourself. I know you cant please everyone but your friends will continue to come over for a free meal if you dont sear their esophagus with a fiery chicken leg hot off the grill! Give them a choice!

Cooking chicken over a charcoal grill is not difficult. The fire cant be extra hot because flames from the fat dropping onto the coals will burn your chicken to a crisp. Better to keep the fire at medium heat and add charcoal as you go along to maintain the proper temperature. When a meat thermometer is stuck between the joints of a leg quarter reads 160 degrees, its time to take the chicken off the grill. When the leg pulls easily away from the thigh, I say its done. Thats the lazy way of doing things.

Pork Chops: You can do many things with pork chops. Lemon pepper, Cajun spices or just plain salt and pepper or some of the marinades you can use to season pork chops. With red souses or great to use if you wait until the meat is almost done. If you dont mop the sauce onto the meat at the proper time, the chops will burn charcoal black because of the sugar in those sauces. You can stuff them! You can grill them! You can smoke them! Anyway you cook a pork chop on the grill is good! Simply cook them on each side for about 6 minutes each until they are done. Larger chops should be cooked a little longer.

Steaks: Its easy to mess up a good steak by cooking it too much. Dont do that! A good sprinkle of garlic salt, a little pepper and youre off to the races. Throw the steaks on the grill and cook them one side for about two minutes them flip them, sealing in the juices, making the meat more tender and delicious. Depending on how thick the steaks are, cook them five to six minutes on one side. Leave them on longer if you want them well done.

Every cookout can be an adventure, but when you become a master griller every day you spend outdoors with your grill or smoker is a vacation day!

Selecting an Advantageous Trusts and Estate Lawyer

Trust and Estates is a rapidly growing area of practice in the law that includes estate planning, managing your estate during life and disposing of your estate at your death through the use of trusts, wills and other planning documents.

Learn About Distinctive Legal Practice Areas.

You can easily become familiar with the different practice areas to determine the type of lawyer who will work best on your legal matter. For the purpose of asset protection and estate planning you will need a lawyer well versed in Trusts and Estates.

You will want to hire an attorney who regularly handles matters in the areas of concern in your particular situation, and who will know enough about other fields to question whether the action being taken might be affected by the laws in other areas of law. For example, if youre going to rewrite your will and your spouse is ill, the estate planner needs to know enough about Medicaid to advise you about whether its an issue with regard to your spouses inheritance.

Unfortunately, there are some attorneys who hold themselves out as experts in trusts and estates, but who have little or no experience in this area of practice. They recognize that the aging America represents a business opportunity for them and they hope to cash in. So you will want to be particularly careful in narrowing down your selection of a trust and estate planning attorney.

Finding a lawyer may be easier than you think. Creditable and trustworthy resources are already available to you on the Internet. For instance, www.lawyers.com offers a complete database of lawyers sorted geographically and by expertise.

Finding a Lawyer May Seem Like a Monumental Task.

Youre already anxious because you have a legal problem. A creditor may have sued you or you may have been injured in an auto accident. Perhaps you want to start a business, adopt a child or finally tackle your estate planning needs. In these situations, you need a lawyer to protect your rights, but each situation requires very different skills. Yet many people dont know how to find a lawyer that is right for them, which only raises their anxiety level.

Not surprisingly, recent studies suggest that the vast majority of consumers (81%) wish there was a resource to help them find competent lawyers. The study also suggests that 62% would like to have access to legal resources on the Internet. This article outlines the basic steps to finding a lawyer and using Internet resources already available to you.

Check Out the Database of Lawyers in Your Community.

You can use www.lawyers.com. Other Internet resources can help as well. Lawyer referral services, operated by your local bar association, can assist in finding a lawyer who is right for you. Visit www.abanet.org/referral/ to find a referral service close to home. If you qualify financially, consider contacting your local legal aid service by clicking on www,abanet.org/legalservices/probono.html. You can also contact a legal professional association or the American College of Trust and Estate to find the best attorneys in your area.

Yet some things can not be done on the Internet! In all cases, be sure to interview the lawyer to assure yourself that he or she has the expertise and experience you need, and that you have a comfort level that will allow you to be honest and open with him or her. Usually, you will not be charged (or charged very little) for this initial consultation.

Ronald E. Hudkins aggressively coordinates with government agencies, organizations and field experts to compile information designed to help consumers avoid deceptive business practices. He is currently publishing his site that specializes in asset protection and estate planning. The site includes how to find, research credentials, interview and hire an estate planning attorney. The site overviews community based services available for long-term care and provides massive information resources. Estate documentation (personal and financial) is overviewed and an Estate Planning Checklist is included. The site covers Medicaid planning and eligibility requirements as well as a legal frequently asked questions section and much more. A description of his education and experience can be found at http://www.AssetProtectNow.com

Helping You Choose From Cell or Land Line

Most of us have two phones, our cell and our land line (house phone). Realistically many people are paying two bills when one is sufficient. The cell phone is still more expensive than the house phone but with the massive increase of people signing up in the mobile world prices continue to fall. If you are working during the day the chances are you are only using your house phone in the evening.

What should I do?

The evening tends to be the cheapest rate for using your cell phone so you need to average out both bills. There are a number of different aspects to consider when deciding on moving to cell phone only. If you live in a large city the chances are your cell phone reception is as good as your land line but if you live in a more remote region the reception may not be all that clear or consistent.

Look into the different types of cell plans available to maximise the amount of free text and talk time minutes. Check the different cell phone carriers and see what options they are offering. Too many people in this country do not look around for better value. Not all cell carriers are offering the same deals. It has never been easier to change from one carrier to another without changing your cell number.

A survey completed recently by a major telemarketing company in Ireland has shown that over 68% of cell phone users make calls on their cells at home although they have a land line available to them.

Two monthly line rentals to pay:

No matter what way you look at free minutes and text etc you are paying two monthly rentals, one from your cell phone and the other from your land line. If you intend calling people in different states your cell phone roaming charges can be expensive unless you are on a high service plan. If you look around you will find cell carriers offering plans without roaming charges.

Reliability

Cell phones services are ever improving. At the moment land line is still a more steady reliable service but this gap is closing fast. People living in major cities will find little to choose from the two services provided from land and cell and the move to cell phone only in made a little easier. For people in more rural areas the decision tends to be more difficult to choose as cell phone coverage may not be as reliable as land line coverage so people have both phones.

Cell phone advantage:

SMS Text is a great way to minimise your spending. If you call a friend or family member on the land line it can be difficult to make the call a quick call without sounding rude. Cell SMS text is ideal fast and a cheap way to arrange a meeting place or pass a brief note and is widely used by most cell phone users.

Land line advantage

Currently the land line phone is cheaper than the cell phone when making calls. The coverage is generally excellent and land line telecom companies are fighting hard by reducing pricing to keep the cell phone companies at bay.

Overview

I myself use a cell phone for all my calls. I have the advantage of living in a large city where coverage is equal to that of a land line. I have a maximum cell plan with free talk time minutes and text. You do need to do some research and compare the two bills and see if changing your cell phone plan will make eliminating your land line any easier. With the coverage increasing all the time soon cell phones will far outstrip the land line telephone. Generally speaking if you live in an area of good cell phone coverage you should be able to eliminate your land line and save money.

How to Evaluate Your Online Auto Insurance Quote

Car insurance is a must in all states. But whether it is mandatory or not, it is very important to have car insurance so that you are covered in the event of an accident, especially if you are liable for the accident. Online auto insurance quotes will help you find the best company to get your car insurance with the options that you need.

There are typical coverages that you cannot eliminate from your policy and there are extra coverages that you can add. The choice will determine the amount you will pay per month or per six months. You also have a choice between online car insurance companies or brick and mortar companies. You will often find that the online car insurance companies are able to offer you greater discounts than the brick and mortar companies. One of the reasons for this is not having the overhead of a physical office which would be rented at commercial real estate prices.

Lets look at online auto insurance quotes. First you have bodily injury liability that has to be at least $25,000 to $50,000 in most states. There are a few states that will require a larger limit, which the online quote will let you know. To save money on an insurance quote, you will want to choose the least amount of limits for all coverages. The only downside is you will not be covered for more than that limit.

The reason behind having bodily injury liability is that you are covered for the accident or death if it is your fault. This means the insurance company will pay the costs for a lawyer and damages to the injured party so that your home, car, and other assets will not be touched in case of a lawsuit. Other coverages that you have to have included are property damage, medical payments, uninsured and underinsured motorist, and uninsured motorist property damage. In some states you can decline the last two options, but this is very rare, especially with new laws being created. Again the amount of coverage you take will create the online auto insurance quote that you will receive.

You can always make your online auto insurance quote less by taking the minimum coverages. Lets look at the additional options of coverages. Comprehensive and collision will cover in case of theft, auto damage from wildlife, flood, and vandalism. This is the reason why loan and lease companies require these coverages. They want to make sure that the vehicle has full coverage in case you can no longer pay the monthly payments. If you own your car then you can save money by declining these coverages. Other coverages include rental reimbursement and emergency road service. If you do not have AAA or another type of coverage for these you may consider the $10 extra to be worth it. On the other hand if you are wishing to save money in any way you can on your online auto insurance quote you may opt out of these.

For more insights and additional information about an Online Auto Insurance Quote and to get a free online car insurance quote, please visit our web site at http://www.tips-for-car-insurance.com

Filing A Mesothelioma Lawsuit

Mesothelioma is a deadly cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos fibers, and this cancer can reduce lifespan to a matter of months from the onset of symptoms. Over recent years, the number of mesothelioma cases coming to light has risen quite dramatically, and in line with this, the number of mesothelioma lawsuits being filed has also increased. Because mesothelioma lawsuits have become such big business, many law firms and lawyers now specialize in this area, making it easier for those affected by this disease to get the legal assistance they need to file a mesothelioma lawsuit.

The first thing to remember about filing a mesothelioma lawsuit is that you have to act quickly. Each state operates within a statute of limitation, which means that those affected by this disease have a certain time within which to act. These statutes of limitation apply to both affected parties and to relations that may be filing a mesothelioma lawsuit in the event that the affected party has already passed away. The faster you act with regards to getting legal assistance the better. Filing your mesothelioma lawsuit as early as possible could make the difference between a successful and unsuccessful compensation claim.

Many people worry about the cost of filing a mesothelioma lawsuit, but the majority of mesothelioma lawyers and law firms now operate on a contingency fee basis. This means that clients do not have to pay any money up front, and the lawyer takes his fee from any compensation awarded as a result of the mesothelioma lawsuit. If no compensation is awarded, then you do not have to pay any fees for the legal action that has been taken.

An experienced mesothelioma lawyer will be able to offer advice on the likely success of your mesothelioma lawsuit based upon your own individual circumstances. Although it is impossible to predict how much will be awarded as part of the mesothelioma lawsuit, an experienced lawyer will be able to draw on experience from past cases to give you an idea of how much you might get. The compensation received as a result of filing a mesothelioma lawsuit is designed to cover a range of costs. Compensation often runs into six figures for claimants, and this is to cover medical expenses, pain and suffering, and also to secure a financially stable future for their families. Although the exact compensation awarded can vary from one lawsuit to another, a mesothelioma lawyer will aim to get as much compensation as possible for an affected client.

Taking early action when filing a mesothelioma lawsuit could really benefit you, and will enable your mesothelioma lawyer to collate all the necessary facts and information in order to put together a watertight case. This can make a big difference to the success of your mesothelioma lawsuit, and acting quickly will help to ensure that your case is actioned within the time limitations set by the state. Although thinking about legal action can be difficult when you have been diagnosed with a cancer such as mesothelioma, it is important to seek legal assistance as soon as possible following diagnosis. This is to ensure that you and your loved ones stand as high a chance as possible of getting the compensation to which you are entitled.
